Meet Mrs. Townson...
My name is Melanie Townson and I will be teaching 5th grade this year. I am so excited to be apart of the West Elementary family as a teacher. I began working at West in 2003 as an instructional assistant. I have my undergraduate degree from Auburn University and decided to pursue my Masters degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. I have lived in Cullman all of my life and I am a recipient of Cullman City’s excellent school system. My husband, Matt, and I have 3 children and have been married since 2001. I love to spend time with family, travel, sing in the praise band at church, and of course READ!
