Welcome!

I am the Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for Cullman City Schools, where I serve students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and reach their full potential.

I graduated from The University of Montevallo in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Education of the Hearing Impaired. My teaching career began in the Decatur City School System, where I taught for three years. After that, I had the privilege of spending 12 wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom. This is my 12th year with Cullman City Schools, and I am excited to begin another great school year with my students and their families.

I have been married to my husband, Scott, for 26 years. He serves as the Pastor at Cullman Nazarene Church. We have four children. Two are married, and we are excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild! In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and church family, exploring new places, and getting lost in a good book.

I feel truly blessed to be part of such an amazing school community. I look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, meaningful connections, and success for every student I have the privilege to teach.
