Hi! My name is Olivia Chambers, and I am so excited to be a 3rd grade teacher at West Elementary! My husband and I recently moved to the Cullman area, and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to become part of the West Elementary family. This is my seventh year as an educator, and I have been fortunate to spend all of those years teaching third grade. I truly love this age and enjoy helping students grow academically, become more confident, and develop a love for learning.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and am a National Board Certified Teacher. I have also completed LETRS training and 30 hours of Orton-Gillingham training. I am especially passionate about helping students grow as readers and writers while also encouraging them to think critically, solve problems, and become independent learners. Most importantly, I want my classroom to be a place where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

Outside of school, I am married to my husband, Caleb. I love traveling, going to the beach, reading, cooking and baking, and spending time with our family. I especially love spending time with my niece and two nephews! During football season, you can usually find me at a football game cheering on Caleb and his team. We also enjoy spending time with friends and being involved in our church.

I am so excited for this new chapter at West Elementary and look forward to getting to know my students and their families. I know we are going to have a wonderful year filled with lots of learning, growth, and great memories!
