Fine Arts

West Elementary offers a fine arts program, which includes engaging offerings in both Art and Music. Students benefit from bi-weekly sessions, where they receive dedicated instruction in either art or music, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for all.

Holly Leeth, Music Teacher

Welcome to Music! This my 15th year teaching elementary music and my 2nd year in Cullman City Schools. I hold a Bachelor of Music from Tennessee Tech University and a Master of Music in Music Education from Anderson University (SC). I am a member of the National Association for Music Education and the Alabama Music Educators Association. I live in Cullman with my husband, our 1-year-old son, and our dog. Outside of teaching, I love reading (you may spot me at the public library or bookstore in town!), hiking, traveling, and coffee. I play bassoon in the Cullman Community Band as well.

My goal as a music teacher is to help students foster a love for music, and to create global musical citizens through performing, creating, and connecting. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together this school year!

Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelor of Music from Tennessee Tech University in 2007

Master of Music in Music Education through Anderson University (SC) in 2023

Ms. Lea Casey, Art Teacher

Welcome to Art! I am SO excited to share this adventure with you. I cannot wait to create and design projects with each student. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be at both elementary schools this year as the Art teacher and Math Team sponsor. This will be my 21st year teaching and my 16th year in Cullman City Schools. I have a Bachelor's degree from Auburn University and a Master's degree from Florida State University.

I have one son, Noah (17). He is a senior at Cullman High School. He is a member of the Varsity XC and Track teams at CHS. He also participates in Theater. He will be deciding his college intent this year to pursue his dream to become an architect. We love working out, running, reading, the outdoors, and traveling.

I am looking forward to an amazing 2025-2026 school year.
