Mrs. Brittnee Norris, Library Substitute
My name is Brittnee Norris, and I’ve had the joy of subbing at West Elementary for the past four years. I’m married to my husband, Brian, and together we have eight wonderful kids who keep life fun and full of energy! I’m so excited to step into the role of permanent library substitute this year. I truly love helping students discover new books and develop a love for reading. I look forward to getting to know each of you and making this a fantastic year together!

Mrs. Caroline Burress, Library AssistantSince 2003, I've been employed at West Elementary. Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving as an instructional assistant in various capacities, including resource support and working with students across all grade levels. Transitioning to the library in 2014, I've taken on the role of a library assistant, where I love interacting with students of all ages and collaborating with our exceptional staff and teachers. My primary aim is to match each student with the perfect book, believing that fostering a love for reading at an early age sets the stage for lifelong readers.
I run and design our school newspaper, Paw Prints. I choose several students to help write articles and draw comics for it. The enthusiasm among students for purchasing each edition is heartening, as Paw Prints serves as a cherished memento akin to a mini yearbook.
I serve as the webmaster for our school's website, ensuring its content remains engaging and informative.
I've been happily married for 40 years to a remarkable man, and together, we have a wonderful daughter named Ashley, who is married to the perfect gentleman, Josh. Our family is completed by our four crazy dogs, as you can see in my photo. During my leisure time, I love to skate, cook, staying active through workouts, cherishing moments with family, and indulging in music.
