Ms. Misti Murphy
I am excited to serve as Reading Coach at West Elementary School and to support our students, staff, and families. I have 27 years of experience in education, including teaching first, fifth, and sixth grades, as well as working as a reading interventionist. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, and cheering on Mississippi State. I'm also a proud mother of three grown children. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of West Elementary School.
